No. Every handheld ships with a SIM card included. If mobile network is weak, the till still keeps taking orders and syncs when signal returns.

Austria (RKSV) and Germany (TSE) are in preparation — until go-live those events run in simple-receipt mode, which is enough for clubs and non-profits that are not subject to the fiscal receipt duty. You choose the mode per event.

Guests have 72 hours after the event to request a refund to card, SEPA or as a donation to the club. Unclaimed balances are handled according to the event terms and applicable consumer / non-profit rules — typically transferred to the organiser or booked as a donation.
